Alright, so it's way too early in the AM but i've decided to make a bit of time to bring you all up to speed on the current happenings and latest developments...As a lot of you know, we've recently completed the final phases of our new album, 'FUTURE SELVES'. This is exciting news for all of us since a fresh batch of tunes seems to be, and always has been of a catylist for progression.
The title of the record could not be more appropriate as we have explored new realms of songwriting through the process of recording and seemingly have created a landscape of previously uncharted territory...at least for us.
so, here's the news...
We will be playing a few shows in preparation for the two night stint at the Beauty Bar in San Diego and West Coast run of shows to celebrate the unveiling of the new record.
TRANSFER will join Music For Animals at a NY UNDERBELLY PARTY at 3 Clubs in Hollywood, CA on Thursday, Sep. 17th. This will be the only L.A. show prior to the FUTURE SELVES release. Come sweat it out!
Shortly thereafter, we head to Austin, TX for a pre-release show at the Beauty Bar AND an amazing video shoot.
All I can tell you now, is that the production team that has come together around this video concept is of the finest. We will show you all the exciting footage and stills taken from the shoot when it's all said and done.
Then, on to the FUTURE SELVES CD RELEASE at the Beauty Bar in San Diego.
We shall play two conciertos, muy especial. Complete with horns, strings, visuals and dwarfs dancing around a miniature Stonehenge.
Each night will feature one of our favorite bands from another city and our favorite local DJ's.
Also - look for our bass player, Cornsake making his appearance with a couple different projects this month in support of the Killers on their upcoming tour. His bass playing skills have afforded him the oportunity for musical promescuity and he has jumped. Look for him playing with our friends
Halloween Town and
WHEW!
All that being said, i am pleased to announce we will be going through somewhat of a transformation in the coming weeks and invite you all to join us on our journey.

Had a cool experience playing over @ X1FM studio yesterday.
AVicious bedazzled the environment once again with an acid trip for your eyes. Nothing like working with a team that constantly strives to make things look like a brilliant display of goodness. you guys really put the lotion in the basket.
Thanks to all of you who came down to the studio to check it all out. And mucho gusto to all the crew @ X1FM . very hospitable hosts.

Thanks to all of our Los Angeles heathens who threw caution to the wind on a school night and partied with us at Spaceland!!! We had an amazing time and were pleased to say that we have a new favorite southern system..... DEAD CONFEDERATE! These lads are an amazing band and great people. look for TRANSFER out in Austin, TX in March, when we take the stage with them again @ the OBSCURE MAGPIE 14HR PARTY.
I'm quite sure our resident visual guerilla, Avicious will be posting blogs and pics with all the goods, quite soon. He's the fizz on our root beer. AH HUEVO!!!!!
